Midget GAN5UB98363G - 2014 September

MG #5 1971 Midget. Clutch engaging at pedal on the floor. The clutch pedal was engaging the clutch almost on the floor. Hydraulics were checked and found operational but the master and slave were leaking. The slave hose looked like it was still the original and the rubber was cracked and wet with fluid. During the analysis of the clutch hydraulics, it was discovered that the clutch fork was bent. You ask how, well a previous owner compensated for the leaking hydraulics by lengthening the push rod and at some point another replaced the slave giving too much movement to the fork. The new master, slave, slave hose, push rod, and clutch fork were installed. All worn bolts and clevis pins were replaced with new. While the engine is out paint.
